Hello,
When ever I set the Featured image on my homepage, It never sizes to properly fit. I have tried several different options and have no idea now. Any help will be appreached

Try running the regenerate thumbnails plugin once. It will re-crop the images to the theme standard dimensions.

If you want to change standard dimensions/cropping method you need to edit functions.php with a child theme where it says:
```
//Thumbnail sizes
```
