I can’t seem to be able to reproduce the bug; please try changing the Template drop-down to “content.php” in the Post Loop element settings, in case this does not work, please contact me at support[at]satoristudio.net regarding this issue.
In fact, I’ve submitted an update to the theme (version 1.7.7), which might alter the situation positively. It should be live and ready for updating shortly – please check the “Appearance – Themes” admin section on your website for an indication if the theme is ready to be updated.

I did follow your advice:
1. Updated Bento to version 1.7.7
2. Cleared cache and saw no change.
3. Changed the Post Loop template to “content.php” – still not featured image.
4. Tested again with all othert templates (“content page”, content none” and back to “content grid”).

Hey Sam, thanks for the additional info! One thing occurred to me: from ver. 1.7.6 it is no longer necessary to tick the “hide thumbnail” checkbox on individual posts in order for the featured image to stay hidden on that post if the full-width header has been activated – in other words, at the moment you’ve disabled the thumbnails everywhere other than grid because of that setting being active on your posts; you can try un-checking the “hide thumbnail” option for the thumbs to reappear in all the places where they remain hidden at the moment.
