It is showing the correct image size on the page, how ever the image tag is shoing width and height of 3499X2328. You can resize the image and the width height in the image tag to correct the problem on all browsers.

Thanks for the advice.
Would you know why this would have changed suddenly if I haven’t made any alterations to the page?

I’m not sure if it’s to do with the size of the image that is the problem. When using a featured image it seems to select only the central part of it to create the ‘featured image’. So the image size remains, but it’s just the centre part that is selected to display as the featured image.
This has been retained on the ‘our day’ page, but not the welcome page. It never used to be that size, until recently without me changing anything.
Any thoughts? Appreciate the help 🙂
Did you already get this sorted? The featured images on those two pages look like the same size.
I see you’re running WordPress 4.4, which came out on Dec. 8, so that’s a recent change that might be at play, though I haven’t seen any other reports of changes in featured image sizes in Sela so I’m not sure it’s related.
Could you try removing and re-uploading the featured image from your hard drive? That would be the first thing I’d suggest if you still see an issue.

Hi Kathryn
Thanks for replying, I had forgotten to close this post. I ended up changing the featured image. I hadn’t resolved the issue with the particular image I wanted, but I’m happy with the one that’s on there now. I hadn’t tried removing and re-adding the image, good idea.
Thanks for your help as always.
John
You’re welcome – glad you’re all set!
