Features in this version or next?

I just want to clarify, the features listed on the description page, namely the “display from all, multiple or specific categories/tags”, is that in this version or next (1.0.0?) because what I want to do is list random posts from category x in the sidebar on post x’s page, posts from category y on y’s posts page etc.. and at the moment, I see the setting to “limit to” but not for what category the posts should be from, is it all by default?
