    Hello there

All was well and working up until today when I got a notification from apple stating
“Dear Podcast Provider, The following show has been removed from Apple Podcasts due to technical problems with the feed.
    Name: Isotopica
    Feed URL: https://www.theculture.net/radio/feed/podcast/

Checking via ftp I discovered that somehow the /feed folder was indeed missing and therefore my rss etc etc.

All my episodes and content are displaying online http://www.theculture.net/radio yet there is no longer an RSS feed??

I assume that what I need to do is make a fresh rss file, and to do so I have attempted the ‘get started’ option from the powerpress menu in wp, yet this does not really seem to get anywhere in recreating my missing rss file.

I have manually recreated the /feed/podcast folder yet can find no online help in recreating the rss.xml.. I am baffled…

Any help in this puzzling matter gratefully received, and finding out just how this has happened is I suspect another issue.

    thanks

Your feed address https://www.theculture.net/radio/feed/podcast/ is comning up 403 forbidden.

There should NOT be a /feed/ folder. That is a dynamically generated thing. There is no folder on the server. If you put one there, it should be removed.

What I think is happening is your webserver (for whatever reason) is blocking /feed/podcast/ or maybe all the feeds. You should check with your webhosting provider to see if they are blocking it for some reason or something is wrong with the webserver or the WordPress intall.

    Thank you Mike

    most helpful.

I deleted the folders I mistakenly created and then deleted and updated the power press plugin and cache by hand, after which I have an RSS feed again though one that appears to need a tidy up.
