# feed error

 * I have an installation of wp 3.0.1 and when I try to put my feed into feedburner
   I get the following error:
 * The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following
   problem: Error on line 337: The element type “atom:link” must be terminated by
   the matching end-tag “</atom:link>”.
 * I have already tried deactivating all of the plugins and I still get the error.
   I don’t know where the feed file is to change the tag.
 * I am using the 2010 theme.
 * Any help will be greatly appreciated.

   line in yellow. Line 157 is </channel>.

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.

 * I have done number 1 as I mentioned in my original post. I am using the default
   2010 theme. How do you reset the plugins folder? Does that mean reloading it?
