• Hello,

I just started out with WP a few weeks ago and have built a pretty hefty site with it.

I am trying to get my RSS feeds to properly validate. so far, I can’t get them to work properly in Feedburner. The main feed does not properly validate, and the category feeds do not work properly either. Without this validation of the feeds, I can’t get our iOS app to pull my content. I have contacted the designer of the WP Theme and he suggested that I write to you kind people on this post.

    Thanks for helping us out.

The blog feed for the main site is: feed://teachercast.net/feed/

It looks like we are having problems with the titles of the blogs, but I’m not really able to understand what it is they are asking me to fix.

Could someone please help out our educational website?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

I have been removing some of the plugins that I don’t currently use or feel are valuable… I have been trying to get the website to speed up the load time and so I’m also kicking things off the homepage to create a quicker experience.

    1. Is there a way to deactivate them all at once? I have quite a few.

    2. Will the settings change if I deactivate them? I’d hate to have all of my widgets disappear from the sidebars and such due to this process.

Does anyone else have any ideas? Could they try that feed in their validation system to help me through this one…

    Thanks

    Jeff

    1. Reset the plugins folder as explained in the link I gave above.

    2. Most plugins should not lose their settings.
