Thanks for taking the time to share this — it is useful feedback.
Regarding the “Check” → “Save” flow, that’s a fair point. The dependency between those actions is not obvious, and we’ll look into improving the UX so it’s clearer when and why saving becomes available.
On “Show Antispam Coverage”, I agree that the current placement and wording can be confusing. The toggle controls whether additional protection indicators are shown in both the “Active plugins and themes” and “Inactive plugins and themes” sections.
These indicators reflect built-in protection mechanisms such as:
- honeypot
- form submission time check
When enabled, you’ll see icons for these methods, and hovering over them shows a description. For them to appear, the corresponding options must be enabled in the Anti-Spam tab.
That said, your point is valid — the connection between the toggle, the icons, and the underlying settings is not as clear as it should be. We’ll work on making this more intuitive in future updates.
And yes — keeping data collection minimal and privacy-focused is a core principle for us, and we intend to keep it that way.
