I tried to submit an app to apple (via AppMakr) using my RSS feeds as the main driver for the app. But the app was rejected and I have been told one of the main reasons is that the W3C has found invalid mark-up in my RSS feeds.

One of the errors I found when running the validation myself was this:

The DOCTYPE Declaration was not recognized or is missing. This probably means that the Formal Public Identifier contains a spelling error, or that the Declaration is not using correct syntax, or that your XML document is not using a DOCTYPE Declaration.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

The feed validator doesn’t have any problem with your feed. “DOCTYPE Declaration” usually refers to a web page – not an RSS feed.
