# FeedWordPress Update Intervals

 * _I posted this question earlier in the troubleshooting forum, but I think that
   was the wrong place to post it._
 * Is it possible to change the update interval for FeedWordPress from 60 minutes
   to about 5 minutes, through settings or by changing the FWP code?
 * I know there is a setting that lets you change how often to check for feeds that
   are ready to be updated, but I need the feeds to be updated more frequently than
   just once an hour.

   like every 500 minutes or more to reduce CPU load on my server.

 * Same here. I’d like to have an option to make it so that it only updates all 
   of the feeds maybe once every four hours or so. It’s a great plugin, but if you’re
   syndicating from a lot of sources, it can be painfully slow.
