Fetch info from Vipps > Merchant logo/subtitle

    When the Alternative Vipps MobilePay Checkout screen is used and the Fetch info from Vipps button is clicked, we get to the page https://apitest.vipps.no/access-management-1.0/idp/index.html that displays the default merchant logo and the subtitle says “Vipps Checkout (MT)”. Then if we have the Vipps (or Vipps MT) app installed, we are automatically redirected back to the checkout page on our website.

    The logic is clear, at this stage we request user data from Vipps, and if the Vipps app is installed, it fulfills this request.

    But our client wants to change the merchant logo and the subtitle to their company logo and name. Is it possible?

    Not from the plugin – this would have to be done from the Vipps Portal, as all of this happens on Vipps’ servers.

    There are some settings for your appearence there; but these might not work for the Checkouts’ login mechanism, because this actually is a login into *vipps*, not your site. I’m not certain if there is a solution for this, but you would need to get it from Vipps themselves.
