 *  no line change is made

 * Hi,
 * Yes, <p> tags would normally get removed by the Visual editor. If you really 
   need them ( new line/Enter should add a new line just as well) only edit in Text
   mode.

 * There are two editors: visual and html.
   In the visual editor you insert a new
   line, as you suggested, and indeed a new line is created.But after saving the
   changes the new line is not taken over.I look forward to your comments.Best regards
