# File type changes itself

 * Again the output file type changed itself to tar. I set it to zip before. I don’t
   know whether it happened at an update or only after time.

 * Thank you for reporting this.
 * We’re aware of the issue where the archive format resets to TAR after the update,
   and our team is already working on a fix.
 * For now, you can change the setting back to ZIP under **Advanced Settings > Jobs
   > Archive Format**, and it should stay that way for future jobs. This also corrects
   the earlier bug where new jobs didn’t follow the selected default archive format.
 * We’ll make sure to update you once this is fully resolved. Feel free to reach
   out if you need anything else.
