Hello! We recently transitioned our website to a new host. The forms were working previously but now the File Upload will not work unless you’re already logged in as a WordPress user on the site. We do not have the form locked down to only logged in users as we want it to be available to anyone. When a non-logged in user tries to upload a file, it hangs and never completes. Sometimes 29%, sometimes 54% but it never completes so the form can never be submitted. When I switch the submissions from AJAX to on form submission, the form returns an error and says it can’t be submitted. Can you please advise?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @jackii8

Hope you’re doing well today! Thank you for reaching out to us.

I was able to make a test and replicate the issue on the website you shared. While making the test, I noticed the site is showing multiple console errors wherein, one of the console error is also related to the Forminator JS file. Please refer to the highlighted error on the screenshot: https://monosnap.com/file/9WZGZzD8zyUnDKH1WFHlg6JomcMzdE

Since there are multiple console errors related to JavaScript on your site, this could mean that the issue might be caused by a possible conflict limited to your site.

I am mentioning this because I tried to replicate the issue on my lab site, however, the test form I created
with multiple upload fields work fine without any issues.

In this case, since you mentioned the form works fine as expected when logged in, this could be due to the interference of cache/asset optimization on your site which minimizes asset files like JS files etc. Can you please check if you have any site optimization plugin enabled on your site, if so, please disable it for a moment and clear all caches and check if the form works fine.

In case that doesn’t help, you will need to perform a full plugin conflict test by disabling all the plugins except Forminator and test if the issue persists. If not, please enable the plugins one at a time until you replicate the issue. The last plugin you enable after which you notice the issue could be the one conflicting with Forminator.

Since this test requires deactivating plugins and re-enabling them which might affect the site frontend as well, I would strongly recommend you to perform this test on a staging/dev environment so that the live site is not disturbed.

Please do let us know the results on how it goes so that we can check it further.

    Kind Regards,
    Saurabh
