# File Upload validation error

 * The latest version of the plugin contains a bug that prevents the correct upload
   and association of files (specifically, **File Upload** type fields) during checkout
   for **non-logged-in users (guests)**. This results in a validation error stating
   that the field is **‘required’**.

 * Could you please confirm which version of the plugin you are currently using?
 * 
   This issue was addressed and fixed in version 7.8.4, so if you are running an
   earlier version, we recommend updating to the latest release and testing again.

 * I can confirm that **updating the plugin to version 7.8.4** has successfully 
   resolved the problem. The file upload functionality for guest users is now working
   correctly, and the order is processed without any validation error.
