# File Uploader Script WP

 * I need to make it possible for files to be uploaded to a designated upload folder
   through a page on my WordPress theme. Anyone know of a plugin?
 * I tried messing around with this [http://php.about.com/od/advancedphp/ss/php_file_upload.htm](http://php.about.com/od/advancedphp/ss/php_file_upload.htm)
   but kept receiving an error.

 * Could you give me the jist of how to set it up to do that? There are a lot of
   options in here.

 * I use cforms II with a site I made for a client. It can be really tricky and 
   I had to do a lot of troubleshooting to get it working right. You also cannot
   update it via the wordpress plugin pane (at least you couldn’t as of a few months
   ago) which is a hassle. To update/upgrade, you must download from the site and
   upload the files.
 * There’s a forum on that website and an an install guide. I’d suggest checking
   it out- it worked great for me.

 * Is it not possible to a regular PHP file upload script? I had the one above almost
   working but I ran into a snag.

   or in a template

 * I actually figured out how to do it, would be awesome if someone made a plugin
   for this. Thanks RVoodoo and hellomatt for your help
