 * Writing a post (in the WordPress copy I installed locally on my HD) I inserted
   a link to an htm document in a folder:
 * file://localhost/D:/Studio/ch18.htm
 * Clicking on it nothing happens, why?

 * Unfortunately it doesn’t work.
 * After having saved
    [ch18.htm](https://wordpress.org/Studio/ch18.htm?output_format=md)
   WP doesn’t keep it and the html editor then shows again only //, not ///.
 * Maybe do I have to use some code for the / ?
