Could you update all your TEC-related plugins and check if the issue persists?
If not, could you provide the version of the following? This will help me understand how your system is set up.
- WordPress
- The Events Calendar
- Theme
I’ve seen it in a few places. One site, for example:
Deprecated: base64_encode(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($string) of type string is deprecated in /plugins/event-tickets/src/Tribe/Commerce/PayPal/Main.php on line 2335
Deprecated: strpos(): Passing null to parameter #1 ($haystack) of type string is deprecated in /plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Repository.php on line 2129
So this is an issue across the TEC suite. Though both of those scenarios look like they could be related to empty settings, so may not turn up on all sites depending on configuration.
WordPress: 6.2
TEC: 6.0.12
Event Tickets: 5.5.10
Theme: Divi / 4.20.4

Hi there,
With our latest release of Event Tickets 5.6.5, we have fixed the issues causing the PHP 8.1 deprecation errors.
As always, we suggest testing updates on a staging site first and having a recent backup, but it should all be smooth sailing. You can remove any workarounds after updating the plugins if you implemented them.
If you still have issues after updating to the latest releases, please open a new support thread and include any specific details.
