Filtering Not Working

    When I put text into the filters for the feeds, the feeds do not pull any articles.

    For instance like a TMZ Feed using Kim Kardashian as a filter to only pull her articles will not work. Now we know they make articles about her all the time.

    As soon as I take off the filters the feeds pulls in everything within the feed.

    I’ve tested this with many different feeds with different filters. Nothing seems to be working with filters.

    When I click fetch feeds it gives me something along the lines of “No feeds where pulled, the cause might be in the feed settings”

    Anyone know what the cause might be?

    What is an RSS URL that you are using and the keywords for the filter (for that RSS URL) that you say isn’t working?

    Is one of the RSS feeds that wasn’t working.

    I was attempting to use filter words to only pull articles with keywords “Kim Kardashian”

    ok…watch this movie where I show the feed, put in the keywords, and and then only 1 entry that exists with that keyword shows…if I take off the keyword, then all the entries show

    Thanks for taking the time to test out my issue. Very grateful.

    However I did notice you seemed to be using the shortcode version of the plugin.

    My issue lies within trying to use the feed to post version of the plugin.

    I just setup the same feed with the same filter word and when I click fetch feeds. It did not pull anything.

    Also before when I was first setting up the plugin and that was the only feed setup it would say a small message saying that the plugin was unable to pull any articles, most likely due to filter settings.

    Now with other feeds setup it doesn’t mentioned that at all. Probably because the other feeds are pulling properly.

    first of all, if you have the articles from pulling the feeds before, it won’t pull in the feed items again – so you first need to completely delete any feed items..here is a movie with me using the feed to post

    The feed never pulled any articles. I tested it numerous times by deleting the feed and the articles even when I tested the feed without a filter.

    It never pulled in any feeds for me when I clicked catch feeds. It noted that my filter settings wouldn’t allow it to pull in any articles. The filter name “Kim Kardashian” was spelled correctly as well.
