I’ve been called back in to a client after 4 years to help. Somebody crashed their WP Multisite site and I’m trying to restore from backup. Log file says backup went to Dropbox but I don’t know which account. What file would show the Dropbox credentials that were set up?

    Hi there,

The free plugin version will not support a Multisite restore or backup, this is a premium feature.
The Dropbox credentials are used within the plugin itself and are not output within the log files.

Normally if the plugin were installed and not removed from a site the credentials would remain.
If the plugin were removed at some point there would not be any Dropbox credentials stored.

    Best regards,

    Nick

..sorry (how do I delete this?)

@nrobertsudp: Yes, my question is where in the plugin I find the credentials. WordPress is broken but all the files are there.

    Hi there,

If the credentials are still intact you should be able to select Dropbox in your Settings.
Select the Dropbox icon in remote storage. If credentials are saved you will see details.

In the Dropbox settings there will be a message informing which account is being used.
‘Account holder’s name: Example Name ([email protected]).’

    Best regards,

    Nick
