# Find/Replace function in the css/php editor

 * I would really like to see a way to search text in a css file or php file without
   having to download the file and edit it locally, then reupload it.

 * For now can you use something like [Notepad++](http://notepad-plus-plus.org/)
   to do the search-and-replacing? By copying the code out of the editor and pasting
   it into Notepad++, etc.

 * … until you make a mistake and bring the entire site down. Then you will always
   need to use FTP. Personally, I think it is highly inadvisable to make changes
   to any theme file without first ensuring that you have a backup copy.
