maybe try using a LYTE widget instead or switch to a LYTE shortcode
instead inside your text/ html widget?

 * I don’t know how your current widget is build, but the LYTE one has a title,
a video and a description, so I guess you can. The alternative (which I forgot
about) is to force LYTE to be active on widgets as explained in [the LYTE FAQ](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-youtube-lyte/#faq),
that way even the httpv-link should work.
