    Good day,

This is my first post in Wp forum, I hope I find an answer to my question.

My question is about ‘Static front page’, I’ve read about this and I know how to make a static page. However, after making a static front page, I can only add one thing! In other words, I cannot write more than one post in my static front page. What I need is a ‘homepage’ including 4 fixed posts whereby all visitors can see without having the recent blogs to be applied in this page! Could this be possible?

I hope I explained my inquiry well, Any help is appreciated!

    Best,

Thank you esmi for your help!

I’ve tried ‘A page of posts’ and it worked. Nevertheless, I’m still having a tiny problem: the posts that I assigned to the home page appeared two wide and overridden the template size only on the homepage!

    Any ideas?

    Best,

Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.

Well, I’m afraid I cannot provide a link for the time being since my site is under construction and I sat it off! Anyway, I think it is a template problem, I applied it first on a template that I uploaded and the problem I posted a while ago appeared! When I applied it on ‘Twenty Eleven’ theme, the posts were in the appropriate position but I still see the following at the very bottom of the page:

( A Page of Posts for a Custom Post Type A Page displaying the posts belonging to a custom post type. In this case, the custom post type is book. The Template below is designed to work with the WordPress TwentyEleven theme but is best used as a Twenty Ten Child Theme. )
