   fixed in the blog central zone? With each new post it’s moving…

 * Create a post category named for example “Featured”. Then put the post you wish
   to have as “main article” on home in that category.
 * Then go to Theme Options > Blog > Featured Category and set it to “Featured”.
   Now, if I understood the question correctly, your featured post will stay up 
   top even if you add other newer posts.
