Flag Icon Change
-
After reading the FAQ and the threads on how to change the custom icon, I’m still having an issue. After overwriting the “pt.png” flag image with a new image in the /wp-content/plugins/polylang/flags everything is good. However, when I update the flag reverts back to the original.
The FAQ states that to prevent this, simply add a directory like: “/wp-content/polylang/” then put the picture in that location.
Question 1: Which location should I put the edited flag:
– “/wp-content/polylang/pt.png”
– “/wp-content/polylang/flags/pt.png”Question 2: What should I name the icon? the FAQ says to name it using a structure like “en_US.png” Wouldn’t that make more sense to simply keep the name the same? Can I keep it “pt.png” or should I change it? I need the Portuguese language for the country Brazil.
Question 3: One of the posts says that when you’re done you simply need to hit “save” in the settings. However, there are many different panels to save in the settings. Which one should I save? Will any of them work?
Thanks so much for the great extension and for your help here!!!
