Flags are not showing

Hello!

I am using Sydney Theme with Elementor and Polylang (all free).

Today, the flags on my main menu were not showing. The language names are showing, but the flags are not.
I installed a third plugin called “Polylang Connect for Elementor” and tried to add the flags in the middle of my site. That worked! However, I need them on the menu.
I reinstalled my wordpress, uploaded the Elementor Templates again, reinstalled all plugins from scratch, but that did not solve the problem.

I wonder why the flags show on an Elementor block but not on the Menu…
