# Flash (with XML) header embedding problem

 * I am trying to get a flash header to embed into a theme. It works perfectly if
   i create a normal html page and reference it normally via absolute URL:
 * [http://www.standrewsnetwork.com/wp-content/themes/theme277/banner.html](http://www.standrewsnetwork.com/wp-content/themes/theme277/banner.html)
 * But i cant get it to work as part of the header – even when i use absolute paths
   in the embed tag.
 * Any suggestions?
 * Further info in case this has anything to do with it:
 * The main .swf file (banner.swf) uses ‘LoadClip’ to trigger a separate swf file
   that in turn uses an xml file. It’s this last bit that doesn’t work.

 * How is the flash set to retreive the XML file? My guess is it’s the flash file
   that isn’t referencing the XML correctly. I’d suggest to modify it so that the
   swf accepts a param from the embed tag to point to the XML
