Hello,

I am a newbie – I just installed WP 20 minutes ago.
I’ve heard that WP can be used not only blogs, but also for other purposes.

I want to create a catalog of flowers: with their names, planting, cutting times, and similar information. As well as several photos of each flower.
Must be possible to search according to certain criteria, time, color, resistance to frost and so on.

Is there a plugin that would create a catalog of flowers?

I would do some reading to learn about and understand how custom post types, custom taxonomies, and custom fields work. Once you have an understanding of those you can find several plugins that will allow you to create all three of those things. You can then develop a site for a catalog of flowers.
