 * I have created a video. Converted it to .flv and have uploaded it to my site.
 * I would to know how to make it play. I have downloaded several flash plugins,
   but cannot figure out what to do after that. Any ideas? I would just like to 
   be able to play videos off of my server, and not have to go through youtube or
   3rd party.
 * PLEASE help. I cannot find this info anywhere. Isn’t there just a code I can 
   copy and paste, then insert my url?

 * indeed there are tons of plugins that allow you to play a flash file. one which
   is very popular is viper video quicktags. you need to enable the button for the
   flash file format in the settings, but then you just copy and past your url for
   the media file and it’s all done!

 * OMG – Just figured out how to do this.
 * I was trying to OVER complicate things.
 * Just simply make a new post, and click ‘insert video’. The program generates 
   the code for you! If you only KNEW the amount of time I have put in to finding
   this answer. Hopefully that simple answer helps others.
 * Though, I doubt anybody can be as retarded as me. Jeez I feel dumb now.

 * what plugin is it that auto generates the code. cause by default wordpress just
   inserts a link to download the file,. does not play through the page.
