# Footer exploit?

 * I have a bunch of random tags in my footer that don’t belong to me. Have I been
   hacked or something? How do I fix it?

 * For starters, provide the URL of your for us to look at.
 * You may have been hacked, or you are just using one of those encrypted/obfuscated
   themes that put other peoples links on your blog. If it’s the theme, the easy
   fix is to use a [better theme](http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/) from reliable
   people.
 * If you are hacked then you’ll need to do some work. Start with reading these 
   links.
