# 'Force' Payment

 * We had an order fail due to mismatched billing and shipping addresses. We contacted
the end user, and confirmed some details, and decided to let the order through.
 * I changed the status of the order in WooCommerce to “Processing,” but the money
isn’t coming through to PayPal. Is there a way to force the payment through?
How do we handle situations like this?

 * Was it done through Express Checkout or Payments Pro? If Pro, was it DoDirectPayment
   or PayFlow?

 * If you log in to the PayFlow account and pull up that original transaction you
should see a link or something in there about a “reference transaction” or “create
a transaction” or something like that. It’s different in different accounts.
 * If you can find that you should be able to process a new payment without any
   further approval from the user.
 * If you can’t find anything like that you could try it using the API, and that
might work, but it might be easier to just call the customer and have them try
   again.

 * The payment didn’t go through to PayPal at all, the transaction doesn’t show
up in our PayPal account anywhere.
 * It’s marked as Failed in WooCommerce, see screenshot: [http://i.imgur.com/HPTk3xD.jpg](http://i.imgur.com/HPTk3xD.jpg)

 * Ok, well in that case there is nothing we can do. I’m not sure why you have marked
it Processing if the payment was simply a failure..??
 * If you have logging enabled in the plugin you should be able to see what exactly
   the failure was.
