Forever Theme Update Error Message

Here are the last 3 lines (#L650 to #L652) in function.php of the lastest version
https://themes.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/browser/forever/1.2.3/functions.php

Those 3 lines should be removed.

If you know how to edit file on the server, just delete those 3 lines.

Since you’ve never edited file online before, it’s better to not do it to the live site. Try asking your web host support, just ask them to help delete those 3 lines.

I suppose the warning messages only happens in the admin dashboard and not on the front. So we can just wait for the next update that have this fixed.

This error will get fixed soon.

Those 3 problematic lines used to happen in Spun theme (also a theme used at wp.COM), and later removed

Just wondering….I’ve been thinking about changing the theme lately anyway. Would there be any issues to just changing it now?

There should be no problem changing theme, unless the new theme you are changing to happens to have that same 3 lines of code in its function.
