# Form embedded using html code does not send or save submissions

 * I need a form to be embedded via html code. When fill the form using embedded
   code and click Send nothing happens. When I use the shortcode the same form works
   fine. Does the html code embed method need some other configurations to function
   properly?

 * The plugin only works when using the shortcode or the block in the WordPress 
   editor. Without one of those two methods, the HTML you’re copying doesn’t contain
   the `<form>` tag or additional code necessary to make it work.
 * You can take a look at the source of your test site to get a better understanding
   of what you’re missing.
