 * I have the same problem.
 * Just installed Formidable and customised default Contact Us form. Replaced Subject
   field with a Drop down and regardless of what is chosen from the drop down, it
   gives the “is invalid” message. The field is not set to Required.

 * I believe this is related to a bug that our developers are currently working 
   on, and that should be fixed in the next release. In the meantime, I would recommend
   rolling back to a previous release as a temporary fix to get your forms working
   again.
 * To roll back to a previous version, you can use the WP Rollback plugin:

 * Rest assured, all plugin settings are stored in the database, so you won’t need
   to set anything up again after rolling back.

 * This was not resolved in version 6.22. When do you expect a fix for this?
 * In the changelog I found this:
 * New: Option values are now validated by default. If this causes issues with custom
   logic, this can be reverted using
 *     ```wp-block-code
       add_filter( ‘frm_option_is_valid’, ‘__return_true’ );.
       ```
