 * I was going to post this in the “Advanced” forum, but apparently only OPs can
   do that. So, hopefully it will be acceptable for me to post this here.
 * Is there any way to “force” a form field to (1) have to contain a value, and (
   2) contain a valid value?
 * For the NAME, EMAIL, and URL input fields on my form, I want to check to see
   if the fields contain valid data before accepting the submission. Is there a
   way to do this?
 * Thanx.

 * ¥es. However, this is a somewhat advanced web development issue, so you may not
   want to attempt form field validations yourself.
    Try using a plugin, like cforms,
   for your WordPress forms. It has a simple user interface to manage your forms,
   including validations, requiring fields, etc.
