Form Grid Block not displaying properly

The page listed is a basic WP edited page (not Elementor), I simply have a title, and in the body using the Form Grid Block widget. As you can see it is all jacked up. It looks fine in the editor but looks like garbage on the actual page.

I also tried using the shortcode on an Elementor page and it looked the same, and completely broke Elementor from loading its editor after the page was published.

It is NOT the cache, as it has been completely disabled on the page. You can confirm this if you inspect the console on the page.

To be honest, I have never had so many compatibility issues with a plugin. I am getting close to trying another plugin, as I am losing too much time troubleshooting GiveWP. I just want it to work…this site is not complex. I hope this is an easy fix.

I checked your page in here — https://www.kristiesplace.com/donations/, but I cannot see the Form Grid Block on the page. If I’m not mistaken, this is the archive page for the forms. Can you send along the page where you used the Form Grid Block?

That is the issue, it is the correct page which is why I am confused….I am using the shortcode you guys explain to use in the documentation. The editor view looks right, but it shows an archive page when you go to it. Am I using the wrong shortcode?

Here is a screenshot to view the page from the admin, and how I was expecting it to look, and the grid look shows up properly:

Hi @twilightit ,

Thanks for sending that along! I think it is conflicting with the /donations slug, which is what we use to store the donation forms under. Can you try using a different slug for the page?

What I would recommend is to retain the page name but change the URL slug of the form to anything other than /donations. That said, you can also change the default URL slug of the forms by following our guide in here — https://givewp.com/documentation/core/settings/advanced/form-page-url-prefix/.

Either of those methods should work and address this issue.

Yea, that was it. So glad it was an easy fix. I didn’t realize that slug was taken 😂
