 * Hi there,
    i am using wordpress 4.8.3 with theme “Enfold”, and when integrating
   WP Contact Slider the form shortcode [wpforms id=”123″] does not get resolved,
   but is just shown in plain text.
 * Maybe there is something wrong with the theme used? How can i resolve this problem?

   Thanks in advance and best regards hampti

 * Hi there!
 * [@hampti](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hampti/) Can you share back-end
   screenshot where you are placing this shortcode? Just to make sure you are doing
   the right way.
 * Thanks!

 * Hi there,
 * i placed it in the “text” field (“what would you like to display”->text) using
   the button “add form”, as intended i guess.
 * Today i found out that it indeed will work, if i do not use the text field to
   display, but just the plain shortcode option. Thats sufficient for me, though
   i am wondering, shouldn’t it work using the text field, too?
 * But i encountered another phenomenon: WPForms provides three options: confirmation
   message, page load or url redirect after sending a form.
    I was using the plugin“
   wp forms ajax submit” to have the “form sent” confirmation message inline inside
   a modal without a page reload. Originally, this did work (i used the plugin “
   popup maker” before).
 * Using wp contact slider, the form will not be sent, but hangs displaying the
   button “sending….”. Without the plugin, it works fine using a confirmation page.
   Using a confirmation message works, too, but as the page reloads and the modal
   is closed, the confirmation is not visible.
 * Is there a way to have the confirmation displayed in the slide without a page
   reload?
 * Sorry for alle the hassle in advance. 😉
    Best regards hampti

 * Hi there!
 * To use shortcode for any form you would have to use shortcode option and place
   your shortcode in the provided field.
 * For the confirmation thing we would have to check the possibilities. Might take
   time as we are full at the moment. Will ping you if we’ll start on this one.
 * Thanks!

 * Hi WPExperts,
 * thanks for asking, but there is no update available. Didn’t you announce one
   regarding the ajax thing? 😉
 * As stated, it works with “shortcode” option. No problem.
    But its confusing,
   as you would expect it to work with text option, too. If i am right thats default
   WP behavior, and there is an “add form”-button coming with the RTE that lets
   you choose a form and inserts the shortcode in the editor. Thats misleading as
   it will not work.
 * No changes with the ajax submit thing -> no inline confirmation possible, only
   the option to redirect to another page. Most people including me can live with
   that, but its not perfect.
 * So.. thanks, i am fine, but these are my suggestions for improvement. 😉
 * Best regards
