# Formatting Slideshow Text

 * Hey, I’m hoping to make line breaks in the text for my slideshow. Right now whenever
   I make edits in the text area of my featured post, the breaks do not show up 
   when I update. Do you know what might be causing this? Thanks!

 * I don’t see the featured post content on your slideshow, but if you use the post
   excerpt field for the featured text, you can add HTML — so adding a `<br />` 
   tag wherever you want a line break should work.
