# Formatting Sub Menu

 * Hi I have a WP site I built several years ago. I am using the Astra theme free
   version. I have recently updated the Astra theme. The background of sub menus
   has somehow changed itself to transparent and I am not able to change it back.
   I have been through every customization menu and the only thing I can find is
   a button that says Astra Menu Settings with a padlock next to it? Such a simple
   basic feature. Is there a way to fix this?

   > Customize ——–> Additional CSS and paste this:
 *     ```wp-block-code
       @media (min-width: 922px)
       .ast-theme-transparent-header .ast-builder-menu .main-header-menu .menu-item .sub-menu .menu-link, .ast-theme-transparent-header .main-header-menu .menu-item .sub-menu .menu-link {
           background-color: #ffffff;
       }
