This used to be a very reliable backup, but since version 1.16.24 I haven’t had a single successful backup. The used web-server space also went from 200mb to 2.1gb since that update, yet the site itself has not grown much and there is no successful backup to account for.

Hi,

Please do post in the support forum if you are having trouble – https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/updraftplus/ . Then your problem can be investigated. There are no changes to the core backup engine in recent versions, so most likely it’s just that your web hosting company is now providing significantly less resources and you need a few tweaks to maximise performance.

agreed!! can’t back up either… Rule of thumb, Back up before updating. I need to update things including updraft and yet i cant back up.
