Formmail: Replace Reply To with From address?

    Is it possible, to set the From address as Reply To address, before it is overwritten?

    I have set From Email Address, SMTP Username and Password in the settings. From Email Address and SMTP Username must be identical – this works perfect, but the Reply To address is also the From address and not the sender’s address from the formmail.

    Hi @johntc.

    If you’re using latest plugin version, there is a checkbox in plugin settings “Force From Name Replacement”. Uncheck it, also make sure Reply-To field is blank. Save settings and this should do it.

    Hey Alex, actually, I tried that, but Reply-To is not correct.
    I use the internal formmail of the Enfold theme, maybe that’s not compatible?!

    Looks like Enfold theme is not properly setting reply-to headers. I remember there was a support thread related to it few months ago. And I remember the customer ended up switching to Contact 7 for his contact form.

    Okay, thanks for the support. I will switch to CF7.
