Forms not assigning posts to correct post category.

    Hello!

    WPUF’s been super helpful so far, though we’re running into one problem:

    Frontend, user-submitted posts using the post forms are coming in as WordPress’s default post category (in our case, “Articles”) instead of as the form’s default post category (“Missions”).

    We’ve made sure that each form is set to submit posts under our desired category, but it seems like WP’s default post category is overriding the form’s default category.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hello @thomaspham,

    Have you used any category field in the post form?

    If users are unable to choose any category then this category will be applied for the WP post type posts.

    By default, it will be unavailable to use category for the custom post from WPUF free version.

    Please check the video. We are unable to find the issue from our end. Can you please try to create a new form and then try again?

    Please make sure you are using WPUF 3.5.12
