# Forms not submitting: PHP Fatal error … Uncaught Error

 * Hello,
 * Recently my site visitors have not been able to submit forms.
 * After checking the logs, I found this line:
 * `PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function Symfony\Polyfill\
   Mbstring\iconv() in /home/[...]/plugins/mailpoet/vendor/symfony/polyfill-mbstring/
   Mbstring.php:118`
 * Once I disabled the MailPoet plugin, everything returns to normal and visitors
   may now submit forms as usual.
 * MailPoet 3 (New)
    Version 3.38.0
 * Thanks for any direction.

 * This is **NOT** a bug in the MailPoet plugin.
 * Here’s what I needed to do in order to fix this error:
    - Log into my server configuration: WHM as the root user
    - Navigate to: Home » Software » EasyApache 4
    - Click on “Customize”
    - Click on “PHP Extensions”
    - Click in the “Search” field and search for: php-mbstring
    - Toggle on the extension for the desired versions of PHP
    - Click on “Review” in the left column
    - Scroll down and click “Provision” to complete the process
 * It would be a good idea to restart the server for good measure.
 * Everything is working now. All the best.
