Moving on from the original request, I’ve just had Perfmatters on my website, trying to work out why the back-end admin had slowed down.
Apparently, it was due to the emojis inside the ‘Forum Dashboard’ in the top admin bar, so now I have to ‘allow emojis’ rather than disable them, to make it load properly.
Perfmatters are aware of this thread, and have said:
“Glad we could help track it down. Sounds like a good idea if WPFORO could perhaps add an option or filter to remove that.”
Hi @deeveearr,

Hi @gvectorsdevs
When you fix your forum software so that it accepts my password, I’d love to ask on your support forum.
Until then though, how do I remove ‘Forum Dashboard’ in the top admin bar?
@deeveearr,
wpForo Community doesn’t have issues with User Registration and Login, what problem do you get when you try to log in wpForo Community?
Hi @gvectorsdevs
Well I signed up on there around this time last year.
I also signed up for the ‘Add-On’ forum, which seems to be working fine.
However no matter whether I use my username or password and click onto ‘Forgotten Password’ in the support forum – even though I get told that ‘A reset has been sent to your email’, nothing ever arrives.
Which is why I’d appreciate a reply to my issue here, please.
Hi @deeveearr,
We’ve just reset your password and sent it to your email address with [@]yahoo.co.uk domain.
Thanks @gvectors-team I’ve just received it.
Can’t help thinking it would have been more transparent to answer an important question like this one on the WordPress forums though.
