 * yes – it’s BBPress which also integrates with the wordpress database if you desire
that so you only have one log in for both.

 * no – it is a wordpress product – support forums are great, too.
 * Here is a test install I did a while back to check out the integration

 * So I have given this a try. I copied the content of the bbpress folder to my
domain_name.com/forum. I then navigate to this folder and I get an install screen.
I get the following error message: There doesn’t seem to be a bb-config.php file.
This usually means that you want to install bbPress.
 * I try to go through a setup but I never get there. I am not sure what to really
do. I also tried to rename the bb-config-sample.php to bb-config.php to see if
the same would run but then i get another error.
 * Is there a link to setup instructions?

 * I have been poking around through the forums and it seems I need to create a
database first, or use one that exists… Is this correct? This is where I am stuck,
   which is the begining [http://www.vuuch.com/forum/bb-admin/install.php?step=1](http://www.vuuch.com/forum/bb-admin/install.php?step=1).
 * Should I use my wordpress database? and the wordpress user id? Or am i better
to create a new database? I have notes about the wordpress database but what
file would I be looking for? In my notes I have i wrote the the db was at a link
   like this [http://gmpg.org/xfn/11&#8230](http://gmpg.org/xfn/11&#8230); Does
this mean it is not on my hosting account?
 * Thanks

 * you will either need a new database or be sure the bb-config.php table prefix
is different than wordpress (which it is by default).
    Also, if you have wp-config.
php at closer to root level than bbpress, it won’t let you install. You will
need to temporarily rename your wp-config.php and do the bbpress install.
 * Any further questions should really be taken to the bbpress forums.
