# Free version not compatible with PHP8

 * It took me a very long while to discover that the free version is only partly
   working under PHP8. A simple IF statement did not work, without any error message.

 * Thank you very much for using our plugin.
 * The “IF” operation implemented by the plugin runs on the client-side (Javascript
   programming language) and not on the server-side (PHP programming language). 
   So, I do not understand what you mean by “A simple IF statement did not work”.
 * Could you please describe the PHP8 compatibility error and the issue with the`
   IF` operation?

 * Oh, there was an plugin update and now it worked! Thanks Solved!
