 * This site is running WordPress 3.1.1, with a Flexx theme:
    [Fashioncow.com](http://fashioncow.com/)
It tends to run very slowly unless database optimization is performed frequently,
   every week at least.
 * This blog is only medium sized:
there are 12,000 records, and total data usage
is 11.6 megs, and index usage is 6.8 megs. Only the WordPress default tables
   are present.
 * Does anyone have suggestions on how to find out why the DB needs frequent optimization?
