Fresh installation didn’t work

    I have two WordPress installations, one with this plugin, the other without this plugin. It works perfectly. But today I have installed the plugin on the second installation also – it didn’t work. I searched in this forum. Someone says install the old version from https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/media-from-ftp.9.43.zip. This version didn’t work also. I upgraded to the actual version – now it works!
    Only the thumbnails at the page “Search and Register” aren’t shown.

    Do not use versions 9.90 or earlier, as there is a security problem.

    I’m using the actual version, 9.97.
    But a fresh installation of this version didn’t work. I searched the reason why. Therefore I installed the old version – didn’t work. After upgrading this version it works now. May be, any missing setting is causing, that a fresh install didn’t work for me.
