I’m using Postmark as my vendor type and messages sent through them are missing the From Name. After sending a test message from the plugin, if I view the message from the log the name is there. However it does not appear in the transcript. The checkbox field must be checked to ensure that the name and email address are sent with the email. * Follow the following steps: 1. Go to the Settings 2. Go to the Message Tab 3. I checked both boxes on the Messages tab and the test message still didn’t have the From Name. As a data point, other installations that send using SMTP include the From Name, even with these boxes unchecked. Same result. You have to deactivate plugins one by one and switch the theme to the default theme.
