We try to reproduce the issue on our site but it seems that everything is working fine, by disabling the company filter it is removed from the filter section in frontend. If no company is assign to any job then filter will not be shown in the filter section.
You can try by deactivating the other plugins for the testing purpose or try changing the theme.

Hello, thank you for your response. I misunderstood the problem. It is the button text that does not appear correctly. I have narrowed down the issue to the value input of the SUBMIT button. See below. I cannot figure out where to change this CSS. Thank you.

It is not the value issue it is the font-awesome issue, on your site it seems that you have given the style to the button. We have attached a screenshot below in which you can see the default CSS and the structure of the button.
